Congratulations To Kinlan’s Contracts Manager …

3 April 2024

Congratulations to Kinlan’s Contracts Manager Jay Jeffries for receiving the ABCD Award (above and beyond the call of duty) from the Principle Contractor Domis Construction Site Manager Matthew Wong.

Following the site having a major push to improve EHS standards for all sub-contractors and Domis Personnel, Jay was rewarded for his contributions in leading by example and setting the standard for the other black hats on site.

Project Director S Kempley said – “Jay is a Senior CM at Kinlan who I personally have a lot of respect for, so without any further encouragement from myself, Jay took the lead with his peers (all other trade black hats) and set up a “Near Miss” group to improve communications and raise on site awareness with the wider team, Jay has also been instrumental in arranging Black Hat Site walk arounds to encourage open and honest collaboration amongst all partnering contractors and the Domis management team.

At Kinlan the H&S culture we are trying to foster rely’s heavily on reporting and collaborating with PC’s to encourage all our operatives to follow in reporting Hazards and Near Misses to improve sites for everyone doing away with any sort of blame culture, Jay is proving to be instrumental in this change.

Well done!!👏🏻👏🏻
